Posted by LS-HACKS on April 4, 2009 at 6:59 PM

Microsoft has aired its second commercial in which they send out a person with cash to purchase a computer.

This time they send out Giampaolo who is looking for a laptop with power and battery life for $1500. While looking at Mac's he says, "This is sooo sexy... but Macs to me are more about aesthetics then they are about computing power." "I don't want to pay for the brand, I want to pay for the computer"

He ends up choosing a HP for $1099.

I'm still a windows member. But everything that man is asking for in a laptop is what you can get in a macbook which can even last years longer. Some people just think "Oh, I've never tried them before but why on Earth would I pay for that much when I can get something 'better' for a less price". I have tried the Macbook and such already. I can say that I fell in love with it. You're not going to be paying for the brand - you are actually paying for the laptop/computer because you can do a million more and different things on a Mac computer than you would ever do on a Windows.

"But macs to me are about aesthetics more than they are the computing power."

ARE YOU NUTS?.. If you're worried about aesthetics vs. power then you just chose the wrong OS! Vista is all about aesthetics and slows your computer (especially a laptop!?) to a crawl!.. You'd have to spend an extra $1000 on hardware to get it to run properly. Think it through buddy, think it through..

Might as well spend an extra $400 and get a mac that'll last longer than 2 years.
